A number of our athletes John B, Lori F, Dylan S, Melissa K and Kari S. participated in the District competition.
The competition was held at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson. The event was very well organized with many volunteers. Our athletes were able to move through the skills stations fairly quickly.
The bleachers were full throughout the competition. Many on hand as athletes received there awards.
Congratulations to John B, Dylan S and Kari S. They move onto the State Competition in Neenah on Saturday March 21, 2020. Wish them well.
Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Wisconsin Center a number of our NSSO athletes were special guests.
Some great fun was had by all in attendance.
Bingo is on for tonight, 6:30pm at the Safety Academy. Please do not show too early to allow time for everything to get set up.
Weather people are still saying rain. We will monitor the weather and if it should get worse than rain, we will close the bingo game at 8pm instead of the scheduled 8:30 = as Wisconsinites know, weather changes regularly.
Drive safe – it is your own feeling about driving in the rain. Take extra precautions tomorrow especially if we really do get the snow being talked about.

North Suburban Special Olympics offers a number of special events throughout the year. Please utilize the online forms that are accessible to register for an upcoming event. This allows us to plan adequately and to be sure to have on hand enough supplies or food for a special event. The new location, the Wisconsin Club – Golf Course, was great. The food was delicious. Those desert cookies from the Friendship Bakery were just fantastic.
