2022 State Volleyball Tournament Results

Congratulations to our three teams.

The Warriors took a Gold, Spikers a 3rd and the North Stars a 4th.

2022 State Volleyball – Saturday, November 5, 2022

Where:  Milwaukee Sting Center, N54 W13904 Northpark Drive, Menomonee Falls (Lilly Rd and Northpark; parking in rear of building) (between Hampton and Silver Spring, west of 124th). (in the CH Coakley Northpark Center building; red brick warehouse building)

Please be onsite about 30 minutes before your first game starts to change into your uniform.  Some teams play back-to-back games.  Warriors may want to arrive 45 minutes before their first game in case the court is ahead of schedule.

At this time spectators will be allowed in the building; we have been told that masks will be required by all; athletes will not be required to wear a mask playing a game.  We will send out any additional or changes in COVID guidelines as we hear of any. 

Uniforms will be onsite – bring a bag to put your own clothes and shoes into during competition.   Please remember to have a name tag on the outside of the bag.  You will change into your uniform and court shoes when you arrive and change out before you leave the building.  Remember – NO jewelry, watches, etc. allowed.

We have been told that there will be a concessions stand for food purchases.

Warriors – 1st game starts 12:45pm; 2nd start time is 1:30am; both games are on Court 7.  Game 1 is against the 8-10 YMCA Thunder 2; second game is against 7-20 Shepherds Orange (back-to-back games).

North Stars – 1st game starts 9:45am; 2nd start time is 11:15am; game 1 is on Court 8; second game is on either Court 7 (championship) or Court 8 (Consolation).  Game 1 is against 5-15 Green Bay Warriors; second game will be against either 8-40 Mukwonago Lightning or 8-33 West Bend Spikers.

Volleyball Invitational

Our teams played hard at Nicolet on Sunday, October 23rd. Now they are continuing practice for the upcoming State Tournament at the Milwaukee Sting facility on Saturday, November 5th. Watch for more details.

Plans are being made for a PACKER PARTY, HOLIDAY STROLL and BINGO BASH for North Suburban Athletes.

VOLLEYBALL:   Practices will start the week of Labor Day (first date is Wednesday September 7) and continue through mid-November.  We will be splitting volleyball into two nights as in prior years (Monday or Wednesday).  Our practice site will be the Milwaukee Safety Academy. Please remember to ENTER the north side doors towards the parking lot, not the front door, and remember to use the sign in sheet (athletes, coaches, spectators).

BOWLING:  Practices will start on Saturday, August 27, at Brown Deer Lanes; practices will be held every Saturday up to and including November 26th.  Practices start promptly at 10:15am, please be there 15 minutes ahead; the door will not open until 10:00am.  The fee this year is set at $ 100.00.

2022 State Celebration Sports Tournament Results

The Outdoor Games tournament was held last Satuday and Sunday July 30th and July 31st. We celebrate all of our atheletes who competed in Track and Field, Swimming, Bocce and Softball. Check out the results and pictures/videos.

2022 State Celebration Sports Tournament

Carroll University – Saturday, July 30-Sunday, July 31, 2022

Summer is nearly over and that means it’s off to the Special Olympics Wisconsin 2022 State Celebration Sports Tournament at Carroll University and nearby sites in Waukesha.  Competition for bocce, track, swim, and softball will be held on   Saturday, July 30-Sunday, July 31, 2022 .   Remember that a light rain will NOT cancel the tournament.  If the tournament is cancelled, we will have the information on the hotline 414-327-1016.  Bocce and track are on campus; softball is at Saratoga; swimming is at Waukesha South High School.

We will NOT have a bus this year – please plan your ride and be aware of travel/parking time needed.  Bocce and softball teams play on both days, and almost all track and swim athletes also compete on both days; schedule information is included with this information.  You may leave the site after you are done competing, make sure you tell your coach that you are leaving.

As a COVID note = masks will be required in buildings.  Lots of Healthy Athletes programs going on – check out the SOWI website for information.

We will be taking one softball team, 1 bocce team, 10 swim athletes and 9 track athletes, along with chaperons. 

Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend the competition and cheer.  Good luck to everyone!

Directions to Carroll Campus (SOWI)

From I-94 – Exit on HWY F south (exit) 295), cross Moreland Blvd. and continue south on Hwy 18 west (North Street) to Barstow Street which is 2.5 miles south of I-94.  Turn left on Barstow St., turn left on Wisconsin Ave., turn right onto East Avenue.  Carroll University. 100 N. East St., Waukesha  53186 – Schneider Stadium.

BOCCE – Tuxedos should be onsite by 8:30am Saturday.   Each team will play only on one court – a reminder that bocce games after the first round may start ahead of scheduled time if that court is free.

            Bocce Schedule = remember that games after 9:00am may start ahead of schedule.

                        Saturday = 9:00am vs 2-25 YMCA Rollers

                        Saturday = 11:15am vs 6-12 Team Rhino

                        Sunday = 9:45am vs 7-02 Janesville Falcons
