Spring Games UW-Oshkosh

The games are over and our athletes did very well. Thanks to our coaches.

Basketball Skills – The event was cancelled on Friday. Our athletes had worked hard this season under Coach Kim.

Basketball – The Dynamite took a 2nd place in Division 7 play. Congratulations to Collin B, Walter L, Sam E, Molly, T, Tim V, Jeff H and Zindzi WB and Coaches Mike and Troy. In the 1st Game they won 26 – 9 over the Raptors. Suffered a loss in the 2nd game 34-30. The 3rd game against the Lakers was a winner for NSSO 20 – 15.

Swimming – Coach Bob’s swimmers did very well. Gold for our 4×100 Free Relay. Jacob P bronze in the 50 Breaststroke and best time too. Chris C bronze in the 200 Freestyle. Chris also got a gold in 100 Breaststroke and Kim R a gold in 100 Butterfly. Better yet these times for hese two were the best times of the season. Congratulations!

2026 State Games – Swimming

Kim R placed 3rd in the 100 Freestyle. Congratulations Kim.

Leslie A took a 5th in the 50 Backstroke. Great work Leslie.

Basketball Skills

Friday evening (April 17); Opening Ceremonies for the Games should be 5:00, start time for competition is scheduled for 6:00pm, ending approximately 9:30pm. Level 1 athletes start and are followed by Level 2.  Athletes may leave after their competition and receipt of award; Sam B, Yan C, Melissa

Sunday – Dynamite – 11:30am on court 3, Kolf, versus 5-16 KCSO Lakers

Swimmers

The swimmers compete both days – with first event on Saturday and last event on Sunday.

Saturday – swim starts at 11:30am (warm-ups), Albee Hall; 12:30pm first event

Competition, divisions 1-28 fill the day; see below for division assignments

Sunday – swim starts at 8:30am (warm-ups), Albee Hall; 9:00am first event and projects to be over by 1:00pm

Winter Sports Registration

Registration is now open through December 5th.

Athlete must attend: • A minimum of 4 practices by February 20 or athlete will not be registered for Regional, and a minimum of 10 practices for the entire 2025-26 season or athlete may not be allowed to be on a team next year.season or this may affect their selection to State competitions for this year and/or next year. • At least two games prior to the Regional Basketball competition on Sunday, March 8, 2026. • The MPS Team Basketball Classic I Invitational on Sunday, January 17-18, 2026
You MUST attend Regional to advance to State with the team and to continue practicing with the team after the corresponding competition. You MUST be at the required invitationals.
• A minimum of 3 practices by February 13 or athlete will not be registered for District and a minimum of 5 practices for the entire 2026 season.
The District Basketball Skills Competition on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
• Attend the State Basketball Skills Tournament, Friday, April 17, 2026, if athlete advances. (date dependent)
• The Team Milwaukee Swim Meet, if possible, on February 20, 2026?
• The Regional Swim Competition on March 21, 2026.
• Attend the State Indoor Games Tournament if athlete advances, on Saturday, April 18-Sunday April 19, 2026.

Swim – State

We had five swimmers in the Sate Swim Competition today Saturday April 12th.

Cooper C, Kim R, Yan C, Chris C and Jennifer O. Thanks to Coach Bob Selingo for his enthusiasm and the great pictures.

NSSO Swim Team

Chris C took a5th place in the 100 M.

Jennifer took 3rd in the 400 M Freestyle.

2025 Spring Games

Tournament at UW-Oshkosh

Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 11 – 13, 2025

Our basketball skills athletes, basketball teams and swimmers are going to do their best this weekend. Come cheer them on.

Basketball Skills athletes compete only on Friday at the UW-Oshkosh Kolf Center. Opening Ceremonies for the Games should be at 5:00pm, start time for competition is scheduled for 6:00pm, ending at approximately 9:30pm.

Team basketball and swim are as below:

Saturday – Dancing Dinos – 11:50am and 3:20pm, court 6, Kolf

Saturday – Dynamite – 3:20pm court 2, Kolf

Saturday – Swim starts at 12:00noon, Albee Hall

Sunday – Dancing Dinos – 10:20am and 12:40pm, court 6, Kolf

Sunday – Dynamite – 11:30am (court 1) and 1:50pm (court 2), Kolf

Sunday – Swim starts 8:30am and projected to be end by 1:00pm, Albee Hall

Rescheduled Swim Meet at Pabst Farms

Short notice – but coach Bob able to re-schedule the swim meet at Pabst Farms that got snowed out.  The rescheduled date is March 12.

Wednesday, MARCH 12, 2025 = MAKE-UP DATE FOR Feb. 12th DATE THAT WAS SNOWED OUT.

Congratulations to coaches and athletes!

Basketball (Dancing Dinos and Dynamite) took 3rd place in their respective divisions.


Basketball Skills – Sam Bradley – 1st place; Yan Chen – 2nd place; Melissa Krutina – 1st place; Jacquelyn Royter – 1st place; Kristina Zalewski – 3rd place.

Swimmers – Leslie Adams took a 1st and 3rd; Christine Cherne took 1st, 2nd and a 4th; Jennifer Onufrock took 1st, 2nd and a 3rd place; Jacob Paulmann took 1st, 2nd and a 4th; Kim Raatz took a 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
