Bocce Tonight Monday June 8th

Weather has cleared. We will have bocce tonight at Fairy Chasm Park 6:30pm – 8pm. See you there!

Bocce June 8th

It’s supposed to be raining today – and we don’t know how well the grass at the new site holds water.  Call the Hotline – 414-327-1016 before you come to practice.

New site – Fairy Chasm Park. Directions.

Should be ok for Tuesday softball. But we’ve heard that before – Wisconsin weather decides whatever it wants.

Fall 2025 State Games Outcomes

Congratulations to our softball and bocce athletes, and coaches for their participation in this last weekends State Fall Games in the Wisconsin Dells.

The softball team took a 3rd in their division. Great play and sportsmanship by all!

The Tuxedos and the Tabbies Bocce Teams both took 2nd in their respective divisions. Both teams displayed good sportsmanship and skill in their play.

NSSO bocce practice – with a question mark – Monday August 18th

Will it rain?  Will it be wet ground?  Will it be dry?  Will there be a bocce practice?

Questions we have had to ask too often – with heat, rain, wet grounds.

Rain is projected for today Monday August 18th– of course it is.  Call the Hotline 414-327-1016 before you come to practice today and maybe we will have answers about a practice.

State Tournament Update

The bocce team, Tabbies, will join the Tuxedos and the Sparks (softball) and advance to State Games, September 5-7th.

No Bocce Tonight 8/11/2025

Our local scout checked out the grounds at Brown Deer HS to see if the lake of yesterday had disappeared.

There will be NO bocce practice tonight.  The lake is gone and some of the grounds are reasonable but much of the area we make use of is, shall we say – too soggy too use.

So no rain today, but the rain over the weekend is still affecting our practice.  Hope you all are ok with the rain that we hope never to see again.

NSSO – practices this week??

With the uncertainties of rain and wet grounds – we do not know if we can safely have practice this week.

So – bocce = call the Hotline 414-327-1016 before you come to Monday practice.

So – softball – call the Hotline 414-327-1016 before you come to Tuesday practice.

Best we can offer at this time.

Outcome of District Tournament

Well, the games got rained out but we do have results!

Softball – congratulations to the Sparks who took 1st place in their division and will advance to State.

Bocce – congratulations to the Tuxedos who took 1st place in their division and will advance to State.

Bocce – best wishes to the Tabbies – they were picked as an alternate team if one of other teams picked chooses not to advance to State – we do not know when that decision by another team will be made.

District Tournament Canceled

The Sunday August 10th Bocce and Softball tournament at Heritage Park has been canceled. Continuing rain and flooding created the need for Special Olympics to cancel.
