Basketball Skills – State

Four athletes competed in the basketball skills, within 3 divisions last night, during the opening events at UW Oshkosh – Kolf Center.

Jim S took a 3rd in Division 18.

Jacquie S took a 1st and Rory K took a 5th in Division 22.

Melissa K took a 3rd in Division 35.

Thanks to Coach Kim Gaunt for a great season.

Tournament at UW-Oshkosh

Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 11 – 13, 2025

Our basketball skills athletes, basketball teams and swimmers are going to do their best this weekend. Come cheer them on.

Basketball Skills athletes compete only on Friday at the UW-Oshkosh Kolf Center. Opening Ceremonies for the Games should be at 5:00pm, start time for competition is scheduled for 6:00pm, ending at approximately 9:30pm.

Team basketball and swim are as below:

Saturday – Dancing Dinos – 11:50am and 3:20pm, court 6, Kolf

Saturday – Dynamite – 3:20pm court 2, Kolf

Saturday – Swim starts at 12:00noon, Albee Hall

Sunday – Dancing Dinos – 10:20am and 12:40pm, court 6, Kolf

Sunday – Dynamite – 11:30am (court 1) and 1:50pm (court 2), Kolf

Sunday – Swim starts 8:30am and projected to be end by 1:00pm, Albee Hall

Sectional Basketball Results

First and most important – YOU WERE ALL FANTASTIC TODAY!!! Great playing, great sportsmanship, great camaraderie !! We are proud of each and everyone of you – you did yourself proud with playing well and having a good time doing it.

Dancing Dinos – took first place and will advance to State.

Dynamite – took second place and were selected in the lottery and will advance to State.

Flying Squirrels – took second place but were not selected in the lottery and will not advance to State. You had a great season – now you can plan for the next sports season and enjoy a few weeks of free Wednesday’s.

Flying Squirrels – took second and got picked in the lottery to advance to Sectional.

Hoop There It Is – had some tough competition and fought hard – took 4^th place.

Congratulations on all for your participation and sportsmanship.

Reminder that Sectional is March 15^th at New Berlin High School – we will send out the schedule as soon as we get it.
