We’re excited to announce the return of our Community Grill Out Program with Sendik’s Food Market!
Join us as we kick off the 2026 season on:
📅 Saturday, May 9, 2026
⏰ 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Sendik’s – Grafton
Our grill outs are more than just great food—they help support the athletes of North Suburban Special Olympics all season long. Every burger and hot dog served makes a difference!
We encourage athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers to come out, show support, and be part of the fun. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or staying to help, your presence means a lot.
We’re always looking for extra hands to help make these events a success.
If you’re interested in volunteering at one (or more!) of our grill outs, please contact:

We are proud of each and every one of the basketball athletes – there were some tough games and opponents – but you gave it your all and did your best! The new season of sports isn’t that far away.
Dancing Dinos – played well, won one of their games and took 3rd place – but were not picked in the lottery. The basketball season has ended for this team.
Both the Flying Squirrels and Hoop There it Is – had some tough competition but never gave up, worked hard, and played well. Both teams took 4th place. The Flying Squirrels season has ended – it’s on to plan for the next season of sports. The Hoop There It Is will have their final practice on Wednesday as they say farewell to Coach Rob as Rob is on his way to a western state.
Dynamite also played well against some tough opponents and came in as 1st place. They will advance to State.
