A number of our athletes John B, Lori F, Dylan S, Melissa K and Kari S. participated in the District competition.
The competition was held at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson. The event was very well organized with many volunteers. Our athletes were able to move through the skills stations fairly quickly.
The bleachers were full throughout the competition. Many on hand as athletes received there awards.
Congratulations to John B, Dylan S and Kari S. They move onto the State Competition in Neenah on Saturday March 21, 2020. Wish them well.

Each team (the Barracudas, Red Raiders, Shooting Stars, Sting Rays, Fire Crackers, and Chargers) will be playing 2 games in this Tournament. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE ON THESE TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN THIS TOURNAMENT. If you cannot, please inform your coach prior to the tournament. If you need a ride to and from Vincent High School, please let your coach know and he/she will try to arrange a ride for you. The time each team needs to arrive and game times are listed below.
Other notes:
- Lunch is NOT included in this tournament. There is a concession stand (run by North Suburban) selling hot dogs, sloppy joes, soda/water, and snacks. If you do not wish to buy a lunch at the concession stand you should bring your own. Remember to drink soda only AFTER you have completed both games.
- You will change into your uniform when you get to Vincent High School. Bring your North Suburban Special Olympics duffle bag (or a regular duffle bag), CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME and 8-02, to put your clothes in after you have changed. After both games are over, change back into your clothes and return the uniform to the container.
- Do not wear your court shoes to the tournament, wear another pair of shoes/boots and carry your court shoes in your duffle bag.
- Do NOT bring jewelry, valuables (including electronic items or cell phones), or expensive jackets (for example, Packer jackets).

STING RAYS – Arrive by 7:30am. Games are at 8:00am (Court 3) & 10:00am (Court 3 or 4)
SHOOTING STARS – Arrive by 7:30am. Games are at 8:00am (Court 1) & 10:00am (Court 1 or 2)
FIRE CRACKERS – Arrive by 8:00am. Games are at 9:00am (Court 3) & 11:00am (Court 3 or 4)
RED RAIDERS – Arrive by 11:00am. Games are at 12:00noon (Court 1) & 2:00pm (Court 1 or 2)

PLEASE NOTE: Print out and return the mandatory MKE Waiver Release to your coach at the next practice or bring with you to the tournament!

This Saturday, March 23rd Dylan Schultz and Melissa Krutina participated in the tournament today. Melissa took a 3rd and Dylan a 5th. Congratulations to both of them!
District Basketball was today. Congratulations to the Sting Rays who took a 1st, Barracuda’s who took a 2nd and the Shooting Star’s who took a 3rd. All three teams advance to the State Tournament in Oshkosh on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th.

Be sure to download the Waiver, print, fill out and bring to practice and give to your coach or Linda. You will not be able to participate in the tournament if you do not have a signed waiver.
