Athlete Profile Tony Porter

Anthony has been participating in North Suburban Special Olympics since 1989.  

Favorite Special Olympic sport is Soccer.

Anthony’s favorite food is Meatloaf and mashed potatoes and favorite movie is  Pride of the Yankees. Enjoys to go to sports like Milwaukee Brewers ,Badgers ,Bucks,hockey, movies hang out with friend in free time.

Resides in Brown Deer.

Kari has been participating in North Suburban Special Olympics since 1998.  

Favorite Special Olympic sport is Bocce.

Kari’s favorite food is Spaghetti and favorite movie is Instant Family. Enjoys Puzzles, watch TV. in free time.

Resides in Grafton. Works at Meijer’s Grafton and attends Portal.

Bingo Bash

Snowshoe

No invitational, but regular practices, with or without snowshoes depending on conditions. We will start this Saturday at Blackstone Creek Golf Course in Germantown, on Mequon Rd. 10am start time – bring snowshoes and we;ll see what the conditions are.

Milwaukee Police Band Annual Winter Concert at the Pabst Theater

Saturday, February 9, 2019 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Seating is reserved so email for your tickets at milwaukeepoliceband@yahoo.com or call 414-935-7933.

According to Mary Hanin, the concert will honor the connection between the Police and Special Olympics and Cathy Hanin will recite the Special Olympics pledge. Tickets go fast and the event is usually sold out.

Athletes must provide own transportation to the concert. This is not a North Suburban event and a bus will not be provided.
